Skarb in an AI agent
Connect Skarb to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor — and ask about your portfolio in words. From Pro the agent reads positions, scores and macro; from Ultra it also checks a trade before you buy, sets alerts and writes in the diary — within the plan’s limits.
What you can ask
- “What is lopsided in my portfolio?”The portfolio’s health and its checks
- “Which holdings fall together?”Correlations and clusters
- “What happens to my portfolio if 2022 comes again?”A stress test by a built-in scenario
- “I want to buy $2K of NVDA — what do you say?”A trade check: flags, questions and a light
- “Set an alert on BTC below $90K”A new alert — it comes in Telegram
- “Note in my diary why I bought AAPL, and remind me after the report”A diary entry with a reminder of the report
- “Where should $1K go to get back to my target weights?”A rebalance what-if with new money
The agent draws the conclusions from Skarb’s data: it can be wrong, and so can the market.
How to connect
- On claude.ai or in Claude Desktop open Customize → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
- Name: Skarb, address: https://api.skarb.dev/mcp. Click Add, then Connect.
- Skarb opens: sign in as usual and click “Allow”. No token is needed.
- Done: Skarb shows up in Claude on your phone too, on the same account.
- Check: ask the agent “What is in my portfolio?” — it answers with your holdings from Skarb.
Free Claude takes one connector of your own. On Team and Enterprise the organization’s owner adds it in Organization settings → Connectors, and everybody connects by signing in to Skarb themselves.
What the agent cannot do
- Place orders or move money: Skarb itself cannot.
- See your broker and exchange keys — they are sealed and never leave.
- Hand out quotes and candles: the rights to them are the data providers’.
- Go past your data: a token sees only your portfolios, and one tied to a portfolio only that one.
- Work after it is revoked: revoking a token in the settings takes effect at once.
What the agent has read goes to the AI provider you connected.
PrivacyLimits
A tool call is one API request: on Pro up to 5000 a day and 60 a minute, on Ultra up to 20000 and 300. The handshake and the list of tools are free. Actions on Ultra spend the plan’s daily limits, as on the site: 25 trade checks, 50 rebalance what-ifs and 50 diary entries a day.
A script instead of an agent — your own trades and reading over REST.
